When you feel run down, lack energy or just want to give your hard working organs a break from eating all the time, this cold-pressed raw juice is the perfect meal-drink.

You do need a juicer (blender turns it into a smoothie) and I highly recommend Omega. It has a full 10-15 year warranty and they have excellent customer service! It is also a masticating juicer and not centrifuge which wastes lots of juice, even if it is a bit faster. Oh! And the centrifuge is a pain in the butt to clean, whereas the masticating one is easy peasy!
Makes about 500ml
3 stalks celery
1/4 large pineapple
2 kale leaves
1/4 cup packed parsley
- In the order above, juice all ingredients. Add filtered water to top it off to 500ml or a bit more if you don’t like it too intense and “green” tasting.
- Drink immediately or place in a tightly sealed glass jar as it will keep in the fridge for up to 2 days.
