Granola balls

Did you know…..?

I had a granola company called Girlnola?  Seriously!  Cool name eh?!

I thought of it myself at 9:23pm while at the red light off the QEW at Martindale Rd making a left-hand turn back in 2009!  Incredible how certain vivid memories become HUGE impacts in our lives, right?

These granola balls will be one of those vivid memories because they are made with https://beekeepersnaturals.com superfood cacao honey and https://jemorganics.com sprouted almond cinnamon maca butter.  I’m sure they will make a huge impact on your taste buds, in fact,  I don’t think you will be able to stop at one or two or three!

Makes 15

Ingredients:

2 cups muesli, I used https://jordanscerealscanada.com which are organic and NO SUGAR

3 tbsp Jem sprouted almond butter cinnamon and maca (or any other nut butter, sunflower seed butter, even tahini is good!)

2 tbsp Superfood Cacao honey

2 tbsp organic, cold-pressed coconut oil, melted

Directions:

  1. Place muesli in a powerful blender to chop up dried fruit and nuts so they uniformly tiny but not pulverized.
  2. Transfer to a medium bowl and add the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Mix well and form into 15 balls.
  4. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes and enjoy!  They will keep in fridge for 2 weeks or freezer for 1 month, so you can triple the recipe!
